The Opportunity – 6 month Contract:

The Project Manager will join a new initiative in our Technology Team, working with our Customer Business Unit, focusing on improving our customer experiences whilst ensuring we adhere to regulatory requirements. As we modernize the way we interact with our customers, it’s important to ensure project activity and delivery is kept on track.

Responsibilities include:

  • ‘Hands-on’ delivery management ensuring business outcomes are met through effective planning and communication
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, risks/issues, resourcing, work prioritisation, project interdependencies, stakeholders/suppliers, and communications
  • Ensure compliance with approved project management delivery policy and processes
  • Ensure appropriate governance of the project throughout the project lifecycle (including reporting)
  • Maintain regular communications and appropriate engagements with all project stakeholders to ensure buy-in and commitment.(remove)
  • Effective management of any vendors involved in planning or execution of project

 

What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications and certification in Project or Business Management (or comparable years of experience)
  • Accreditation from PMI or AIPM in the Project Management space (PMI, CPM etc)
  • Strong experience delivering Customer, Digital or Technology initiatives in complex regulatory environments
  • Experience with major business and/or service delivery initiatives involving a significant degree of change (people, processes, and culture)
  • Understanding of technical requirements and the ability to speak technically with Technical Analysts, Engineers or Architects
  • Experience delivering Customer, Digital or Technology initiatives in complex regulatory environments
  • A strong track record of delivering results in dynamic and changing business environments via the application of highly developed strategic planning and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills & attention to detail
