About Us
Globally, energy markets are in transition to a net zero future and the entities within these markets are transforming their underlying business models to ensure that they stay relevant, sustainable and profitable. As one of Australia’s largest energy providers, we are proud of our purpose to lead and accelerate the clean energy transformation. Our ability to deliver on this Purpose will be dependent on our people.
As the energy sector rapidly evolves with electrification, renewables, and sustainability at the forefront, we are delivering innovative centralised energy solutions to meet the needs of modern communities.
About the role
As our Solutions and Delivery Lead, you’ll help deliver embedded network and centralised hot water projects across greenfield, brownfield conversion and take-over sites (e.g. apartment buildings, retirement villages, gated communities). You will lean on your subject matter expertise to assist in the ongoing improvement of our market offerings, with a focus on developing new and innovative solutions / capabilities, challenge the status quo and providing guidance and fresh ideas across our acquisition lifecycle. Key aspects of the role include:
Using your sector knowledge to firstly understand gaps / needs and then defining and developing new solution capabilities, through engagement with existing and new solution providers.
Leading project management activities for new site implementations, ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with industry safety and regulatory requirements.
Acting as technical SME regarding solution design, delivery, and operational aspects (i.e. meter data and communications) for centralised energy solutions.
Facilitating solution implementation across embedded energy and bulk hot water systems.
Establish, develop and maintain engagement with solution partners, contractors and stakeholders (including attending site visits, which at times require interstate travel).
About you
We are seeking candidates with strong technical expertise combined with prior success managing complex solution implementation in the community and centralised energy services market. You’ll be adept at building relationships and influencing key stakeholders such as property developers, consultants, builders and owner’s corporation managers, and you will be comfortable working with a broad range of internal EA teams including Procurement, HSSE, Legal, and Finance.
We would love to see the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:
Expertise areas must include Centralised Electrical, Hot Water, VRV Heating and Cooling, Solar PV, Battery, and Electrical Vehicle solutions.
Strong background in centralised energy services, embedded networks, and microgrid solutions with a proven track record of project delivery and developing new solutions.
Strong understanding of the energy market and emerging energy solutions (highly desirable).
Experience interfacing with business clients (highly desirable).
Experience managing contractors.
Experience overseeing proactive and retroactive asset maintenance.
Commercial acumen through assessing solution feasibility and managing project costs.
Experience managing end to end solutions and stakeholders (networks/distributors, business, and consumer segments).
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in engineering, project management, electrician certification, hydraulics trade or similar.
Please note, there is an element of interstate travel required for this role (every couple of months for 2-3 days). If you share our passion for a clean energy future for all and want to join us #Doing. Not just dreaming, then click the 'Apply’ button.
