Workstream Delivery Leader - Billing & Customer Management (Contract)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workstream Leader to join the Customer Transformation team at EnergyAustralia on a 24-month max term contract.
Reporting to the Head of Customer Transformation, this leadership role will see you responsible for the planning and delivery of the various initiatives assigned to the Billing & Customer Management workstream.
Responsibilities include
- Lead the design and implementation of a new operating model for the Customer Business Unit
- Lead the design, mapping and embedding of new business processes and related procedures
- Undertake planning for the scope of delivery of their workstream and support the planning of other workstreams in the Customer Transformation Program
- Track delivery velocity and report on the delivery of milestones, keeping stakeholders and senior leadership actively informed on the progress of the Workstream and status of benefits
- Working with Change, support the design and delivery of training programs to upskill impacted employees, support the transition, and enhance the effectiveness of each initiative.
- Anticipate, identify, and mitigate potential risks associated with the initiatives, offering solutions to overcome resistance and obstacles.
- Work closely with process owners and teams to ensure that new processes and systems are well integrated
About You
- Program delivery leadership experience in medium to large organisations which operate in complex and regulated services environments
- Critical thinker with demonstrated customer and market focus (external and internal)
- Superior understanding & experience in best practice project management competencies including scope, time, quality, people, communications, cost, risk and integration
- Outcome and improvement focused - proactive, result-oriented and able to satisfy internal customer expectations
- Commercial acumen to identify opportunities, develop compelling business cases and drive for benefits which capture to the ‘bottom line’
- Strong proven leadership - motivate, develop, and manage staff to achieve excellent levels of performance
