Business Analyst - 12 month contract
The Opportunity – 12 Month Day Rate Contract:
We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Customer Transformation Program with the main responsibility of supporting data stream development for the new future-state data model. Responsibilities include:
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements related to data migration, data mapping, and data lineage across systems.
- Work closely with both non-technical and technical stakeholders to define and validate end-to-end data flows between source and target systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data requirements are clearly understood, accurately captured, and aligned with the overall data model and transformation objectives.
- Support data quality, reconciliation, and validation efforts to ensure data integrity throughout the transformation.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to capture current-state data processes and define future-state data flow designs.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) highly regarded
- Strong ability to read and interpret SQL queries for data mining and analysis
- Solid understanding of database concepts, data structures, and data lineage
- Experience in data mapping and data migration, with the ability to document and validate data flows across business processes.
- Strong business and technical acumen, able to bridge data insights with operational needs
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and system requirements into clear documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in agile and/or hybrid delivery environments, with strong facilitation and requirements management skills
- Analysis experience within Cloud environments & databases (AWS / Databricks)
