Business Analyst - 12 month contract

The Opportunity – 12 Month Day Rate Contract:

We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Customer Transformation Program with the main responsibility of supporting data stream development for the new future-state data model. Responsibilities include:

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements related to data migration, data mapping, and data lineage across systems.
  • Work closely with both non-technical and technical stakeholders to define and validate end-to-end data flows between source and target systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data requirements are clearly understood, accurately captured, and aligned with the overall data model and transformation objectives.
  • Support data quality, reconciliation, and validation efforts to ensure data integrity throughout the transformation.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to capture current-state data processes and define future-state data flow designs.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) highly regarded
  • Strong ability to read and interpret SQL queries for data mining and analysis
  • Solid understanding of database concepts, data structures, and data lineage
  • Experience in data mapping and data migration, with the ability to document and validate data flows across business processes.
  • Strong business and technical acumen, able to bridge data insights with operational needs
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and system requirements into clear documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in agile and/or hybrid delivery environments, with strong facilitation and requirements management skills
  • Analysis experience within Cloud environments & databases (AWS / Databricks)
