About Us
At EnergyAustralia our shared purpose is to lead and accelerate the clean energy transformation for all. We seek to do this by making energy simple for our customers, meeting their needs by combining their assets into our flexible energy portfolio.

About the Team
The Customer Transformation Team is a program of work that has been established to transform the way the Customer business operates. The challenge for this newly formed team is to ensure our delivery is purposeful & sustainable in the short term and drives a competitive value proposition for our customers in the long term.

About the Role
The Senior Change Manager – Customer Transformation is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex transformational change related to the implementation of a new enterprise customer service technology solution. This program will drive significant change across the Customer business and into other enterprise functions, impacting systems, processes, roles, and customer experiences.

If successful, you will design and conduct complex change analysis, lead change planning, and ensure readiness and adoption across impacted areas. Key to your success will be your ability to collaborate closely with the Transformation Program team, system vendors, and a dedicated change delivery team (including Communications, Training, and Organisational Development Leads). Other aspects of the role include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Identifying training needs, create practical training plans, and oversee delivery so employees are ready for new systems, processes, and ways of working
  • Developing and running communication and engagement plans that support the broader transformation goals
  • Monitor change readiness and adoption, working closely with stakeholders to address risks, boost engagement, and reduce resistance
  • Manage support during key transitions, ensuring smooth rollouts, clear communication, and quick resolution of any issues
  • Coaching and mentoring teams to build strong internal change capabilities. Support junior team members and empower employees to lead change within their areas.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and experienced change manager, with demonstrated success leading large scale change management initiatives within complex programs. Specific experience supporting customer management and/or billing system implementations, process redesign, and operating model transformation are appealing. Other experiences and capabilities we’re interested to see include:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach change across the full lifecycle—from analysis and planning through to delivery and adoption.
  • Expert knowledge of change methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR), tools, and best practices.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with the ability to work and lead teams across multiple streams and functional areas concurrently.
  • Proven success working with program delivery teams, business stakeholders, and change partners to ensure integrated outcomes in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Highly skilled in analysing and translating system and process changes into people impacts.

Please note, this is a 2-year fixed-term contract opportunity.
