The Opportunity – 8 month Contract:

At EnergyAustralia we are ‘doing, not just dreaming’, the Project Manager will work on a new Regulatory & Compliance initiative scoping a broad range of EnergyAustralia’s processes & technologies. Sitting within the Legal & Governance team, the role’s responsibilities include:

• ‘Hands-on’ delivery management ensuring Regulatory and Business outcomes are met through effective planning and communication
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, risks/issues, resourcing, work prioritisation, project interdependencies, stakeholders/suppliers, and communications
• Ensure compliance with approved project management delivery policy and processes
• Ensure appropriate governance of the project throughout the project lifecycle (including reporting)
• Maintain regular communications and appropriate engagements with all project stakeholders to ensure buy-in and commitment.
• Effective management of any vendors involved in planning or execution of project

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications and certification as a in Project or Business Management (or comparable years of experience)
• Accreditation from PMI or AIPM in the Project Management space (PMI, CPM etc)
• Strong experience in delivery of regulatory/compliance projects and the implementation of major business and/or service delivery initiatives involving a significant degree of change (people, processes, and culture)
• A strong track record of delivering results in dynamic and changing business environments via the application of highly developed strategic planning and project management skills
• Business acumen to identify opportunities, develop compelling business cases and drive benefits which affect the bottom line.
• Excellent communication skills & attention to detail
