About the Team
The Customer Compliance Performance (CCP) team is undergoing significant transformation, creating exciting new opportunities to join at a pivotal time, where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact. This team provides specialist compliance expertise to the Customer Business Unit, supporting effective compliance management and ensuring EnergyAustralia’s regulatory obligations, governance systems, processes, and frameworks meet both industry standards and customer expectations. About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the CCP Team as a Governance Specialist. This is more than a traditional governance role — it’s your chance to help shape how governance adds value across our Customer business. You’ll lead the development and continuous improvement of governance, risk, and compliance practices — not just maintaining frameworks, but also challenging and evolving them to better support the business. Working closely with leaders, Group Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk and Internal Controls, you’ll drive oversight of audit actions, risk treatments, and remediation activities, and ensure clear, effective governance processes are in place and used to share information and facilitate effective decision making. You’re a strategic thinker with a practical mindset — someone who sees the value in good governance but also knows it must work for the business. You bring experience in governance, risk, compliance, or audit or process improvement or continuous improvement in a complex organisation and are motivated by the opportunity to help build and shape the function.
