About Us
Globally, energy markets are in transition to a net zero future and the entities within these markets are transforming their underlying business models to ensure that they stay relevant, sustainable and profitable. As one of Australia’s largest energy providers, we are proud of our purpose to lead and accelerate the clean energy transformation for all.

EnergyAustralia is proud of the role our customers will play in driving the clean energy transition through their uptake of sustainable energy solutions in their homes, businesses and community. Behind-the-meter technologies (solar, battery storage, EV’s, heat pumps, home appliances) and orchestration through a virtual power plant, will optimise energy consumption, reduce consumer costs and enhance sustainability and we are excited by our ability to offer these solutions.

About the Role
As Digital Strategy Product Manager, you’ll define what “great” looks like across our digital ecosystem—from apps and authenticated web experiences and beyond. You’ll assess current capabilities, benchmark performance, and build a roadmap that bridges the gap between where we are and where we need to be.

You won’t be coding or fixing an app—but you will be setting the strategic direction for how we improve our digital offering, helping to define future state digital experiences that drive engagement. This is a strategic, future-focused role for a seasoned Digital Product Manager who’s ready to step beyond delivery and into shaping the digital experience of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Digital Strategy Lead in developing our cross-channel and digital-channel strategy definition, planning and development.
• Help define our digital capability roadmap, aligned to our CRM and billing transformation, outlining what digital capability we will build and implement, in what order, and to what sort of timeline.
• Lead the development of a digital maturity framework to assess and uplift our current state.
• Benchmark our digital platforms against industry best practice—then help us close the gap.
• Provide strategic input into technology decisions, balancing innovation with legacy constraints.
• Influence stakeholders across business and tech to align on priorities and outcomes.

About You
You’re a seasoned product owner / manager with deep experience in digital—especially in complex app development and authenticated web environments. You’ve worked in energy, telco, or other regulated industries, and you understand the complexities of building new tech on top of legacy systems.

You'll also bring:
• Significant experience in corporate technology and/or consulting environments, including 5+ years in digital product ownership.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to plan, estimate, and prioritise digital capability uplift.
• Good experience in customer-facing service / sales operations (utilising digital/online channels).
• Experience across apps, web, MyAccount, and authenticated customer platforms. You know what good digital experiences for our customers looks like!
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A pragmatic mindset—able to balance high standards with realistic delivery paths.
