About Hallett Power Station
Built in 2001, Hallett Power Station is a highly flexible gas-fired peaking power station consisting of 13 open-cycle gas turbines with a total capacity of 235MW. The power station generates electricity by using natural gas supplied from the Moomba pipeline.
The site is located in an open rural environment in South Australia, approximately 190km north of Adelaide, and about 100km east of Port Pirie. Our team reside around the beautiful area in towns such as Peterborough, Jamestown, Clare, Laura & Burra.
The Role
Based out of Hallett Power Station you will be responsible for the daily safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the power station, to safeguard technical, safety, environmental and commercial integrity over the asset life cycle. Under the direction of the Hallett Asset Leader, you will be required to meet production specification in terms of plant availability, start reliability, quality and quantity of electricity sold.
