About the role
Forming part of an onsite maintenance team at Mt Piper Power Station, Portland, NSW, this permanent role is required to provide a quality and safe electrical maintenance service on plant and equipment on-site, in accordance with policies and procedures, safe work practices and the environmental protections.
This position will be accountable for, but will not be limited to the following:
Ensuring safety as a priority
Teamwork and collaboration
Support of computerised work management
Carrying out preventative electrical plant maintenance;
Identifying and completing corrective electrical plant maintenance
Planned maintenance compliance
Conducting plant inspections
Performing electrical problem solving (fault finding)
About You
An unwavering personal commitment to workplace health & safety
A desire to complete all tasks to the highest quality, supported by a continuous improvement mindset
Completion of an apprenticeship and Electrical Trade Certificate
Demonstrated knowledge of modern power station plant or heavy industry including operational, maintenance and processes
Demonstrated knowledge of safe work practices and WHS legislation
Demonstrated ability to work to established QA systems / work modules
Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work independently.
Demonstrated ability to use the Ellipse WMS system or equivalent computer-based maintenance information systems.
Work effectively as a team member
Hold a current Electrical Trade Supervisors certificate
Desired applicant willing to relocate or to be within 50klms from site
