Compliance Advisor Analyst

In this vital support role, you’ll help ensure our regulatory advisory function runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our Compliance Management System (CMS). You’ll play a key part in enabling consistent, auditable second-line support that underpins our commitment to doing the right thing.

Your day-to-day will involve maintaining accurate advisory records, tracking regulatory change activity, coordinating stakeholder engagement logistics, and supporting initiatives that uplift compliance capability across the business. You’ll also manage the centralised documentation of breach submissions, regulator notices, and RFIs—ensuring everything is traceable, version-controlled, and aligned with second-line expectations.

  • Obligations & Advisory Support - Support the maintenance and documentation of second-line regulatory advice. Assist with upkeep of obligation libraries, advisory logs, and CMS artefacts.
  • Regulatory Change Management - Track and log regulatory developments and assist in coordinating change assessments. Record implementation progress and update obligation registers and related tools.
  • Compliance Data and Reporting - Maintain dashboards, registers, and trackers supporting advisory and change activities. Administer breach management documentation and submissions, ensuring accurate records are maintained for all breaches, regulator notices, and related information requests in accordance with CMS procedures and tools. Ensure auditable, centralised documentation is stored and version controlled.
  • Education & Capability Uplift-  Assist in preparing training and onboarding content, compliance briefings, and reference materials. Coordinate regulatory learning and engagement activities across business units.

How can you support the Clean Energy Transition  

  • Tertiary qualification or diploma in Business, Law, Policy, Risk, or a related field (or currently undertaking).
  • 3+ years’ experience in a professional support role in regulatory, legal, compliance or governance functions.
  • Formal training or certification in compliance or governance.
  • Understanding of regulatory, compliance, or governance environments preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in document handling and recordkeeping.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Experience with data entry, version control, and maintaining compliance artefacts.
  • Familiarity with obligations or risk systems (e.g., Archer) desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to simplify complex • Reliable, proactive and focused on task completion.
