EnergyAustralia will continue to recruit but in a different way. Video or phone interviews will replace the normal face-to-face interactions. About the role
The Brand Leader is responsible for developing and delivering strategies that clearly distinguish EnergyAustralia and supporting brands from its competitors, for purposes including, but not limited to, attracting and retaining customers and employees and, more broadly, enhancing the company’s public standing. Success in this area means key internal and external stakeholders are more likely to act in ways that support the delivery of the company’s overall strategy and objectives.

As the key member of the Marketing team, you will focus on advancing the EA’s brand awareness with respect to our target audiences. You will also be responsible for overseeing agency and in-house projects and process management to ensure alignment against the EA’s overarching brand strategy. This role will report directly to the Head of Marketing.

About you
We’re looking for a collaborative individual who sees the big picture and possibilities from multiple angles and through a creative lens. You will have a passion for the storytelling of our iconic brands with a successful track record of developing and implementing brand strategy. Prior experience in behavioural science or psychology to thoroughly understand our consumers and what drives their beliefs and behaviours, will enable the formulation of initiatives that will aid brand differentiation. As well as being an effective planner you will have demonstrated experience in setting an agenda/course of action and mobilising broad stakeholder groups (i.e. those that are not reporting to you) into aligned action.

Acting as a true brand champion across the business., you are someone with leadership experience and a growth mindset who can balance marketing and commercial needs in a fast-moving environment.
