About the role
Reporting to the Studio Leader and working alongside the Copy and Content Lead and Graphic Designer, we have a fantastic role for a Copywriter to join the team dedicated to delivering high-impact marketing communications and materials to market. As a key member of the team, you will provide a high standard of copywriting for digital and print communications to Residential and Business customers, as well as to prospects. Communications include one-to-one communications, website, social assets, intranet, and presentations that ultimately assist in achieving the business’ growth objectives.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Write, edit, and proofread customer communications across the EnergyAustralia business
  • Produce on-brand and engaging copy, capturing EnergyAustralia’s tone of voice across all segments
  • Work with key stakeholders across the business to fulfill objectives within timeframes

What we’re looking for
Naturally, you will be tertiary qualified in a relevant field such as English, Journalism, Advertising, or Communications. You will bring your copywriting experience either agency or client-side, with a strong understanding of the principles of consumer, business, and brand advertising. You will demonstrate an ability to apply organisational Tone of Voice and brand style guidelines, as well as experience writing for the web and optimising below the line (BTL) comms. 

You will also need the following:

  • Ability to confidently present creative ideas and concepts
  • Strong, presentation, influencing & negotiation skills
  • Timeline management to meet multiple deadlines at one time
  • Digital, Retail, Energy or services marketing experience would be highly regarded.
