About the role

Reporting to the E-Fleet Leader in our New Products division, this newly created role will take the ownership and accountability for managing all commercial and financial controls across the e-fleet project portfolio (Electronic Transportation) from site audit through to start of operations.  The focus of this role will be to work with the e-Fleet Business Development Manager to deliver quotes, financial modelling and C&I pricing to support delivery of customer collateral.

This role is a key part of a professional team working to ensure multiple stakeholders within and without EnergyAustralia deliver quote data for the customer data pack – and that this data is properly reflected in the commercial quote tool for attachment to legal contracts.

The e-Fleet Project Controls Analyst will also manage commercial model versions, maintain documents and work with the e-Fleet Project Manager to control document submission to authorised parties.

Please note: This is a 12 month opportunity with a FLEXIBLE LOCATION of QLD, NSW or VIC. 

What we’re looking for

Leveraging your strong financial analytical and complex financial modelling skills, ideally from multiple project environments, this role is critical to our E-fleet team establishing, maintaining and delivering best in class project financials and commercial details that underpin both internal and external review panels, business development activities and governance regimes with corporate finance.  As this role is highly people centric role we also require;

  • Great people skills with ability to communicate complex financials clearly and seek explicit data to support modelling;
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable, to remain open to new ways of thinking and doing, to challenge respectfully and to be challenged;
  • Excellent time management skills to produce set reporting rhythms & ad hoc analytical tasks for the projects;
  • Attention to detail and ability to organise effectively and efficiently;
  • Ability to remain calm and positive in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity;
  • Relevant qualifications in business, engineering, finance plus 5+ years of experience.
