About the role

Reporting to the E-Fleet Leader in our New Products division, this newly created role will take the ownership and accountability for managing e-Fleet projects from inception through to delivery of turnkey engineering solution. The focus of this role will be to work with the e-Fleet Business Development Manager to handle EnergyAustralia’s contractual deliverables (both upstream and downstream) over the entire customer sales cycle.

This role is a key part of a professional team working to ensure multiple stakeholders within and without EnergyAustralia are properly engaged, receive timely communication and are held to account for deliverables. The e-Fleet Project Manager will also identify and flag risks and issues early to the project team and steering committee for resolution.

As the E-Fleet Project Lead you will take charge of multiple projects ranging from $5-20M in a dynamic electrification space which has a lot of government parties investing into and is foundational to our medium to long range green energy horizon across Australia.

Please note: At this stage, this is a 12 month opportunity with a flexible working location of VIC, NSW or QLD. 

What we’re looking for:

Leveraging your strong project management skills in both green and brown fieldprojects, ideally from a construction and engineering background or similar, you will be comfortable managing projects with long timelines. As a start-up role you will draw upon your superior communication, project scheduling and stakeholder management experience to formulate clear & pragmatic project update cadences covering the critical project delivery communications. As this role is a highly people centric, we also require;

  • Excellent people skills with ability to understand and resolve delivery blockers associated with organisational culture, functional team issues, miss-alignment between key stakeholders etc;
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable, to remain open to new ways of thinking and doing, to challenge respectfully and to be challenged;
  • Ability to manage your own daily activities, be a self-starter, organised, logical and have pride in your work;
  • Attention to detail and ability to organise effectively and efficiently;
  • Ability to remain calm and positive in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity;
  • Superior Stakeholder engagement skills anchored on collaboration, Courage; Customer Focus; Drive; and
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, logistics plus 5+ years of experience plus project management specific qualification (PMI or similar).
