About the team
The team is a cross-functional blend of front end, back end and full stack developers, who manage and own their applications from cloud infrastructure and services to CSS and design. Each team also has UI/UX, Product Owners, BA, Testers and Scrum Masters to support delivery.
As the role of Digital Developer, you will be using your expertise in front-end to write clean, high quality code for digital solutions to enhance our customer experience.
This is a collaborative environment where we work to the Agile principles, focusing on our customer when evaluating our backlog of work including our technical debt for value. You will be working with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders including Architects, Scrum Masters, UX, Business Analysts and Product Owners.
Our tech stack includes (but isn’t limited to):
• Azure DevOps
• Microservices delivered using S3, Fargate, Kubernetes and Lambda
• Cypress/Mocha/Test Cafe
What we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role and environment, you are a passionate Digital Developer with a can-do attitude and demonstrated strong front-end experience.
In addition, you will have:
- Experience working in a progressive digital first organisation (essential)
- Greenfield development (essential)
- Experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment, CI/CD, and automation testing
- Extensive technical skills in AWS, Front End development
- Knowledge of cyber security
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interpret technical concepts and present them to non-technical stakeholders
