About the role:
Reporting into the Sales Centre Leader, and working closely with the Senior Sales Leadership Team and broader Sales and Marketing teams, the Group Sales Manager Home Acquisition has functional ownership of the operational running and accountability for the delivery of sales and conversion metrics across the Customer Sales Centre (CSC) and is responsible for leading the acquisition of gas and electricity residential customers through our contact centre.
Manage approx 14 Team Managers across multiple locations based in Melbourne CBD and Geelong (approx 3 days based in Melb CBD and 2 days in Geelong each week)
Drive team development and promote a positive, outcome orientated and sales focused team culture.
Ensure your teams meet sales, service level, financial, quality and compliance key performance indicators and targets.
Develop, implement and manage sales strategies, tactics, campaigns, promotions and plans to deliver sales targets and key performance indicators.
Contribute to the strategic and tactical thinking of the Customer Sales Centre leadership team.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across our Customer Sales Centre.
Provide reporting and insights into the performance of the Customer Sales Centre channel.
Play a key role in the implementation of the Connect coaching framework into the Customer Sales Centre.
What we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role you'll be an experienced sales manager with a successful track record of leading large sales teams, developing and executing operational and strategic plans and driving improvements across contact centres to uplift sales capability and customer experience. Ideally, you'll have earned this experience within a large and highly competitive service industry. You'll also require excellent analytical skills and strong knowledge of relevant contact centre technologies and networks.
In addition to your technical skills and experiences you'll be an exceptional leader who inspires and motivates others. You'll also be commercially astute and possess the proven ability to achieve results through combining your creativity, attention to detail and problem solving skills. Most importantly, you'll also be an outstanding communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills which enable you to engage, influence and inspire others to achieve desired results.
